How does it protect paving and what benefits does it deliver?

It firmly binds jointing sand, reduces wash-out, no loss of jointing sand from pressure washing, prevents weed growth, and resists oil, water, food, and drink stains, all while enhancing colour with a glossy sheen. It also withstands de-icing salts and many commercial chemicals, helping to preserve both the appearance and structural integrity of paving.

How is it applied and what is the coverage?

Resiblock Superior Gloss is applied in two coats—about 3 m² per litre for the first, and 6 m² per litre for the second—once the surface is thoroughly dry. It’s designed for year-round use, with fast-drying properties that enable the area to be ready for foot or vehicle use within 24 hours of final application.

What conditions and timing should be observed during application?

Apply when weather is dry, temperatures are between 3 °C and 30 °C, and no rain is expected for at least 12 hours. Ensure a 3–24 hour gap between coats, avoid foot traffic for 3 hours, and keep vehicles off for up to 24 hours post-application. This ensures optimal curing and performance.

How long does Resiblock Superior Gloss last, and what maintenance does it need?

Resiblock Superior Gloss delivers up to 5 years of durable protection, with simple maintenance practices helping to extend its lifespan. Regular cleaning (pressure washing) keeps the surface looking fresh, and any stains such as oil or food can be easily removed. Sealing will prevent weed growth from within the joint, algae and moss can no longer take hold and can be removed without effort, however regular / seasosnal pressure washing will keep them at bay
