Resiblock Flying High at Heathrow Airport

11th July 2017

Following the completion of sealing works at Europe’s largest airport, Resiblock are delighted to add to their ever-growing list of high-profile commercial sites, London Heathrow Airport.

Subsequent to the reparation works of the Taxiway between Terminals 2 and 3, Resiblock ‘22’ was utilised to prevent paver destabilisation caused by the weight of the numerous European and International aircraft that operate out of these Terminals. The 1,750 m2 site was sealed in March by The Shannon Group and was fully open for operation just 24 hours after the installation of Resiblock ‘22’.

The addition of Heathrow Airport further confirms the success of Resiblock following its previous installations at major London Airports i.e. Luton and City Airport and RAF sites i.e. RAF Kinloss, RAF Colerne and the UK’s 9000-acre Electronic Warfare Tactics Range at RAF Spadeadam.

The use of Resiblock at International Airports including Glasgow Airport, Christchurch Airport, New Zealand, Sapporo Airport, Japan and Hong Kong International Airport shows the Global reputation and trust placed in Resiblock and their products.
