What Paving Sealer Remover does and the full stripping process
Ensure the surfaces to be stripped are clean, dry and free from dirt and debris before application. There should be no rain forecast during the operation, and ambient temperatures should be between 5°C and 30°C. Cover the top of the container with a cloth during opening to avoid splashes.

1Apply generously at approximately 1 m² per litre
Apply RPSR at a spread rate of approximately 1 m² per litre by paint brush or roller over the affected area. Apply a generous coating to the surface of the paving.

2Agitate after 30–60 minutes to check it has bitten in
Agitate a small area with a nylon brush 30–60 minutes after application to ensure the RPSR has bitten into the Resiblock coating — it should now be possible to move the coating with the brush.

3Re-apply, cover and leave for 6–10 hours minimum
Apply a further amount of RPSR and cover the area with plastic sheeting or geotextile to ensure it does not dry out. Leave in situ for as long as possible — no less than 6 to 10 hours.

4Remove the sheeting and lift off the material
Remove the plastic sheeting or geotextile, bag it and dispose of as commercial waste. Use a squeegee or a dustpan and brush to remove as much of the material off the surface as possible, and bag it as commercial waste.

5Pressure wash — repeat where remnants remain
Pressure wash the paved area thoroughly. Where any remnants of Resiblock remain, repeat the full process from step 1 until the sealer is completely removed.
Allow a period of no less than 14 days following pressure washing to ensure thorough drying of the substrate and that any remnants of RPSR are no longer active. Check for the appearance of efflorescence before re-sealing.
Although RPSR is a water-based, low-hazard product, it is designed to strip Resiblock polyurethane and water-based sealers, so it may affect other coatings. Take care not to allow the product to come into contact with grass, plants or other planting unless thoroughly diluted. Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soapy water.
