What Resiblock Oil Remover does and the five-step removal process
Resiblock Oil Remover was developed for in-situ concrete and block-paving contractors as a fast, effective method of removing vehicle engine oil. Its rapid action removes oil staining while simultaneously restoring the natural colour of the paved drive or path. It breaks the oily film into soluble globules, enabling it to be readily pressure-washed away. It has no adverse effect on the finished surface of the paving or concrete, and no long-term corrosive effect on the cementitious base structure. After cleansing, the concrete is ready to be sealed with the Resiblock range of sealers and stabilisers.

How to Use — Five Steps

1Stir well before use
Stir the contents thoroughly before use to ensure a uniform emulsion.

2Apply liberally and agitate with a bristle brush
Liberally apply Resiblock Oil Remover to the stain and agitate with a bristle brush to work the product into the affected area.

3Allow to soak for 15 minutes — do not let it dry out
Allow the product to soak for 15 minutes. Do not allow it to dry out on the surface. Repeat the application as necessary for stubborn or heavier stains.

4Rinse thoroughly with detergent and a hot pressure washer
Thoroughly rinse the area with detergent and a hot pressure washer to flush away the soluble oil globules and remaining product.

5Seal to prevent re-staining
Seal concrete block pavers with Resiblock Superior or Resiblock Superior Natural Matt to prevent re-staining and to protect the restored surface.

Protective measures, storage and first-aid guidance
It is not essential to wear full protective clothing, but eye protection should be worn by the operator to prevent spray entering and inflaming the eyes. PVC or rubber gloves should be worn, as prolonged skin contact could cause irritation. Keep away from children and read the safety panel on the container.

First Aid
Eyes
If accidentally splashed into the eyes, irrigate thoroughly with clean water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin
Prolonged contact is not advisable. Wash off thoroughly with soap and water.
Ingested
Do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water followed by milk. Seek medical advice immediately.
Avoid naked flames and hot surfaces. Flash point is 65°C — in the event of fire, use an extinguisher suitable to the cause of the fire. Keep containers tightly closed and away from children. For spillage, hose down with water or use absorbent granules to soak up spillage, then dump in an approved area in accordance with local authority regulations.

Resiblock Oil Remover is an emulsifiable degreasing solvent emulsion. A free-flowing, non-viscous liquid with a solvent odour, it forms an unstable emulsion designed to break up oily films for easy pressure-washing.
